At the inaugural Pan African Health Awards, ICEE (Africa) was nominated as a finalist in the Non-profit/NGO category.

Professor Brian Layland, founder and director of International Centre for Eyecare Education’s Australian Aboriginal Eyecare Program, has been honoured with the prestigious award “Excellence in Health Service Delivery by a Non-Aboriginal Person” by the Department of Health New South Wales (NSW).

The political and security situation in Sri Lanka continues to deteriorate. Importantly activities have now become more widespread geographically and ICEE has been advised that people are at risk in previously considered safe areas.
