When Australian kids slip on their sunnies on today, ICEE Sunnies for Sight Day, they will be helping people in communities from Malawi to Murrin Bridge.

A founder of more than ten research and humanitarian organisations, ICEE CEO, Professor Brien Holden has been an inspiration for three decades and received international acclaim. Simply put, he is a man with uncommon vision.

ICEE is calling for abstract submissions for the second World Congress on Refractive Error (WCRE) to be held in Durban, South Africa, from 20-22 September 2010.

Vision 2020 and nine of its members have united to form the Vision 2020 Australia Global Consortium with the aim of eliminating avoidable blindness and reducing the impact of vision loss throughout South East Asia and the Pacific over the next 10 years.
