The World Congress on Refractive Error and Service Development brings together leading experts to discuss the key scientific and public health challenges in refractive error.

After the Boxing Day tsunami in 2004, ICEE was the first organisation to provide directed eyecare aid to the stricken coastal regions. Since then 26,699 people have had their eyes examined and 23,254 spectacles have been issued at no cost to the patient.

On National Sunnies for Sight Day, Friday February 24, around 400,000 people showed their commitment to ICEE by donning their sunnies, or buying a piece of sunnies merchandise to help give sight to help people who are blind or vision impaired simply because they don’t have glasses.
